Quiet news day today so we're gonna talk about..... Films and Music, the perennial favourite of a material-strapped K.
Films I watched this weekend? Er, Pitch Black. Kinda ok, basically a B-movie with some nice special effects, and Vin Deisel looking well-ard. I also watched the first part of Pushing Tin the other night (but had to go to bed) it looked very promising in a way, very slick and I like John Cusack very much in just about anything he's done in the last 10 years or so to be honest. That sentence looks very bad.
My "As heard on radio soulwax" album has been on pretty much constantly in the bathroom (yes, I have a stereo in my bathroom, long story) and I've just ordered DJ Yoda's "How to cut and paste, vol 2" from amazon.
Yahoo's top sites of the year list is out, showing just how far the internet has come in terms of punk-kitten sites. Read the full article here
Scaryduck mentioned the Pepys Project, an attempt (and a pretty good one) to bring the diaries of Samuel Pepys to the internet, only 343 years late.
Chek them out here also Neil Gaiman (author, writer, broadcaster etc etc) has a site here
and he mentions the Penn and Teller webite and also Penn Gillette's saga of airport security, part 1 and part 2 (Jesus, if all these links work first time it'll be a triumph for modern education over a 30 yr old's cack-handedness).
